Sales Terms & Conditions

These Sales Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases, bespoke builds, and installations provided by JB’s Pet Haven Co (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order, you (“the customer”, “you”) agree to these terms.

1. About Us

JB’s Pet Haven Co provides bespoke pet/animal enclosures, including catios and outdoor pet/animal spaces, pet/animal accessories and other pet/animal related equipment.

2. Quotations

  • All quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise

  • Quotes are based on information provided at the time and may change if requirements change

  • Site visits (where required) may refine pricing

A quotation does not form a binding contract until accepted in writing.

3. Orders & Acceptance

  • Orders are confirmed once:

    • Written acceptance is received, and

    • Any required deposit has been paid

  • We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders prior to confirmation

4. Pricing & Payment

  • Prices are quoted in GBP (£) and may include or exclude VAT (clearly stated)

  • Payment structure:

    • Deposit required to secure booking (typically 30–50%)

    • Remaining balance due upon completion or as agreed

We reserve the right to suspend work if payments are not made on time.

5. Bespoke Products

Due to the custom nature of our enclosures:

  • Designs are tailored to your property and requirements

  • Minor variations may occur due to materials, site conditions, or design adjustments

  • Once production begins, changes may:

    • Affect cost

    • Extend timelines

6. Installation

Where installation is included:

  • You must ensure:

    • Safe and reasonable access to the site

    • The area is clear and ready for installation

  • Delays caused by restricted access, weather, or site conditions may result in:

    • Additional charges

    • Rescheduled installation dates

We will always aim to minimise disruption and keep you informed.

7. Timescales

  • All timelines provided are estimates, not guarantees

  • Delays may occur due to:

    • Weather conditions

    • Supply chain issues

    • Changes requested by the customer

We will communicate any delays as early as possible.

8. Cancellations

Customer Cancellations

  • Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced

  • If cancelled before work begins, a partial refund may be issued (minus admin costs)

  • If materials have been ordered, costs may be deducted

Business Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel an order due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.

9. Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer, your rights are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  • Bespoke goods are exempt from standard cancellation rights once production has started

  • However, goods must be:

    • Of satisfactory quality

    • Fit for purpose

    • As described

10. Returns & Refunds

Due to the bespoke nature of our products:

  • Returns are not accepted unless:

    • The product is faulty

    • The product does not match the agreed specification

Any issues must be reported within 7 days of installation or delivery.

11. Warranty

We provide a 12 month workmanship guarantee covering:

  • Installation quality

  • Structural integrity (under normal use)

This does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, pets, or external factors (e.g. extreme weather)

  • Natural wear and tear

12. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information during the quoting process

  • Ensure pets are supervised and safe during installation

  • Maintain the enclosure after installation

13. Pet Safety Disclaimer

While our enclosures are designed with care and expertise:

  • No enclosure can be guaranteed to be fully escape proof or predator proof

  • Pet behaviour varies and may impact effectiveness

Ultimate responsibility for pet safety remains with the owner.

14. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the total value of the order

Nothing excludes liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

15. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.

16. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including:

  • Severe weather

  • Supplier delays

  • Transport disruptions

  • Government restrictions

17. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
